The 19-year-old impressed at the Under-19 European Championship as he guided Spain to the title by netting the winner in the final against Greece.
And, although he's happy to start the new season with Real Madrid Castilla, he is keen to make the step up to the first team eventually.
"Real Madrid Castilla is my team at the moment. I'm happy that we'll play in the Segunda Division, because that'll be an extra challenge," Jese was quoted as saying by Marca.
However, Mourinho knows that there's plenty of quality in the Cantera, and he can call upon us any time he wants."
The promising attacker then went on to stress that he's eager to continue his development and build on this summer's success.
"When I get back to my club I want to continue improving day by day. I know that when I do get back, though, that my team-mates will look on me differently as is always the case when you win tournaments like this."
Jese has a contract with Madrid until the summer of 2013.
