Benzema faces three weeks out with muscular injury - report
The French striker picked up a minor knock in the match in Moscow and appears set to miss the club's next four matches and his country's friendly against Germany
Karim Benzema - Real Madrid
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema will spend the next three weeks on the sidelines with a muscular injury, AS reports.
The France international was forced off after just 16 minutes in Madrid's 1-1 Champions League draw with CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.
A first assessment of the injury has revealed an adductor muscle injury, with the player expected to miss between two to three weeks of action.
This means that Benzema should miss Madrid's La Liga matches against Rayo Vallecano, Espanyol and Betis, the Champions League return match against CSKA as well as France's friendly match against Germany.
The former Olympique Lyonnais ace, who joined Madrid in 2009, has scored 21 goals in all competitions since the start of the season.
