The 44-year-old coach saw his team dismantle Catania 4-0 in Serie A on Wednesday but drew the most satisfaction from their continued form in defending their own goal

Juventus boss Antonio Conte is delighted that his team have rediscovered their defensive solidity following a 4-0 victory over Catania in Turin on Wednesday.

Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo fired the Bianconeri to a 2-0 half-time lead before further strikes from Carlos Tevez and Leonardo Bonucci added gloss to the scoreline.

It was the defensive aspect of the Serie A holders' performance which seemingly left the biggest impression, though, as Conte revelled in watching his team keep the opposition at bay for the second successive game after a previous 2-0 win over Bologna.

"This was our fourth game in 10 days and we've got another three testing encounters ahead of us," the 44-year-old told the club's official website.

"We needed to start keeping clean sheets and have managed to do so in our previous two games."

The Italian giants face a rigorous schedule in the coming weeks, including clashes against Napoli and Real Madrid, but the two-time Scudetto-winning coach is loath to look beyond Sunday's test against Parma.

"Now we'll think about one game at a time," he vowed. "Parma is a tough venue, somewhere where AC Milan have recently been defeated. We'll begin to focus on Real from Sunday onwards."

Conte's men sit third in Champions League Group B, seven points adrift of the Spanish giants, whom they host in Turin on November 5.
