The former Rossoneri defender believes that there is a lack of confidence within Massimiliano Allegri's squad and urges them not to put pressure on themselves to performFormer AC Milan defender Massimo Oddo is concerned that the Rossoneri are "lacking self-esteem" following their disappointing start to the campaign.
Massimiliano Allegri's side are currently 10th in Serie A, with their 3-2 defeat away to Parma on Sunday the latest disappointing result.
"Right now I think the Rossoneri are lacking self-esteem," Oddo told SpazioMilan.it.
"In football, the psychology factor makes all the difference. If they had won their first three games of the season we would be seeing a completely different side right now.
"They need to play in a more relaxed manner but I understand how difficult it can be in front of the home fans, not wanting to make mistakes.
"This might not be the team of four or five years ago but it is still a very good team. They are a side under construction.
"Kaka is a player who can make a difference to the side, although he has had three difficult years in Spain. It's important that too much isn't expected of him."
