The AC Milan midfielder is very pleased that the Rossoneri will not change coaches, while the 45-year-old himself was equally satisfied to be able to stay on at San Siro
Silvio Berlusconi and CEO Adriano Galliani sat down with Allegri at the weekend to discuss his future at Milan and they eventually decided not to part ways, much to the delight of Montolivo.
"I am pleased with this choice. The club makes the decisions and as players we only have to think about playing. I think the discussion about the type of football can happen in the best of families," the midfielder told reporters.
"The president and the club have decided and the main thing about Allegri is that he is balanced character, both in the positive times and those less so."
The former Cagliari boss himself, meanwhile, was very satisfied with the outcome of Sunday's meeting as well.
"I am happy with how it events went on Sunday evening with club president Berlusconi. Now I’ll enjoy a few days holiday," Allegri said.
"We are ready to improve on last season. My relationship with the president is normal, which means that it is also normal not to agree on everything."
