The Argentina international has been touted as a possible replacement for the wantaway playmaker but the Inter boss still hopes that the Dutch midfielder will stay put
The Argentina international has been linked with a move to the Giuseppe Meazza side as Sneijder's future at the club is in doubt, but Moratti has not given up hopes of holding on the gifted midfielder just yet.
"Between Sneijder and Pastore, I'd rather have Sneijder. He's the best there is, in my opinion," Moratti told reporters.
"Too much has already been said about this. I have an excellent relationship with the lad and when Wesley returns he'll provide added value."
The 28-year-old Sneijder has not featured for Inter since September 26 due to a an ongoing contract dispute and the Netherlands international has stressed that he has no intention of accepting significant pay cut and sign a new deal.
