The Argentine midfielder is confident that the Giallorossi can challenge for top spot in Serie A in 2012-13, but admits that the feat will be difficult for the capital-city side

Lamela admitted that champions Juventus are the team to beat, but warned that Roma can spring a surprise as long as they remain ambitious.
“The goal of winning the Scudetto is difficult but not impossible,” the ex-River Plate man told Il Corriere dello Sport.
“On paper, only Juventus are stronger. We should not limit our ambitions. We must fight for first place.
“It is one of my goals. I know that the Scudetto is not easy to win. But nothing is impossible; it is difficult, but not impossible.
“I like to win. That is why I am here. Names and reputations do not matter, the important thing is to have a competitive team.”
