New Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic has introduced a radical new method of ascertaining the fitness levels of his players - capturing naked images of them over the course of the season.
According to Rome's Corriere Della Sera, the Bosnian coach is implementing strict fitness standards on the Biancocelesti, with the stripped profiles of playing staff providing a novel means of measuring diets by analysing both posture and abdominal size.
One player who Petkovic could miss cataloging appears to be transfer target Burak Yilmaz, after a statement from current club Trabzonspor suggested that the Turkish forward is on his way to Lokomotiv Moscow instead of the Italian capital.
"We have agreed a fee with Lokomotiv Moscow, and all that remains is an agreement between the player and them," Trabzonspor president Sadri Sener was understood as saying.
"There was also Galatasaray, but they are our direct rivals so I accepted the Russian offer."
Burak's agent nevertheless tempered expectations by stating: "We'll meet, but nothing is concrete."
There is widespread interest in the Turkey international, who scored an impressive 33 goals in 34 appearances for the Super Lig side.
Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have also been mentioned in the race to sign the 26-year-old.
