The Brazilian midfielder's contract at the Ligue 1 side was due to expire this summer, and he will now continue his career in Italy with the Biancocelesti
The Serie A side have announced on their official website that the 26-year-old has penned a contract until June 2017.
The Biancocelesti had long been linked with a move for the creative midfielder, and they have now completed the deal after lengthy negotiations.
Ederson started his professional career with Interrnacional and also wore the jerseys of Juventude and Nice before joining Lyon in the summer of 2008.
The Brazilian had since developed into an important first team member at Les Gones, making over 100 official appearances for the French giants.
However, he opted not to renew his contract with the Ligue 1 side as he wanted to embark on a new challenge at this stage of his career, and will now move to Serie A.
