Stramaccioni pens new Inter contract until 2015

The young boss officially commits his future to the Nerazzurri for the next three years after impressing during his short spell in charge at the tail end of 2011-12
Inter have announced via their official website that coach Andrea Stramaccioni has signed a new contract with the club until 2015.

Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti confirmed last week that the 36-year-old had agreed terms for the next three years, but the deal has now been made official by the club.

"F.C. Internazionale has now finalised the paperwork relating to the coach's three-year deal with the club," a statement read.

"Stramaccioni's contract, which runs until 30 June 2015, was taken to the Lega Serie A offices today [Monday]."

Stramaccioni, who previously coached Inter's Primavera team, took charge of the senior squad in March following the dismissal of Claudio Ranieri.

He oversaw five victories in nine matches as the Giuseppe Meazza side finished sixth in the Serie A table, securing a place in the third qualifying round of next season's Europa League in the process.
