Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero has saluted AC Milan’s outgoing stars Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso and Filippo Inzaghi.
The Bianconeri attacker, who will also be searching for a new team at the end of this campaign, has played against the Rossoneri trio over the years and also featured with them at international level for Italy.
Nesta announced his intentions to depart earlier this week, before Inzaghi and Gattuso followed suit, and Del Piero has hailed the veteran players.
"Sandro, Rino, Pippo: team-mates and/or opponents, but never enemies," the 37-year-old Turin legend wrote on his official Facebook page.
"I’m happy to have played with and against you. I respect you, guys. Ale."
Juventus will look to preserve their unbeaten record in Serie A this season when they visit Atalanta on Sunday afternoon.
