The 27-year-old central defender has been out of action for a month, but he could return to Massimiliano Allegri's plans for the final games of the season
AC Milan defender Thiago Silva could make a return to action in Sunday's Serie A trip to Siena, Tuttomercato reports. The Brazilian stopper has been unavailable since suffering a relapse of a thigh problem in the opening minutes of the Serie A clash against Roma on March 24.
He resumed training on Monday, but only on Thursday was he able to be part of the practice session together with his team-mates.
The news comes as a considerable boost to Milan, who trail Serie A leaders Juventus by three points with four matches remaining.
After the match against Siena, the Rossoneri will take on Atalanta, Inter and Novara to close out the 2011-12 campaign.
