The Italian champions were beaten 2-1 by the Florence-based side on Saturday, and have lost top spot to Juventus, but the Argentine attacker wants to forget about the game
The Italian champions suffered a surprise 2-1 loss to Delio Rossi's men at San Siro which allowed Juventus to move back to the top of the Serie A standings, going one point clear of the reigning Italian champions.
Despite the disappointing result, the Argentine attacker has urged his team to put the defeat out of their heads.
"It 's an unexpected defeat, we must try to win the next few games," the former Barcelona forward told Gazzatta dello Sport.
"It was a strange match and was not the usual Milan on show. April is a month where we play every three days; physically it is taking its toll.
"We play in 72 hours and we should already be focused on the next game in Verona. We can reverse this result in three days; we must think only of Chievo and to correct what has gone wrong.
"We must redeem ourselves immediately. Our group is strong and the players can prove themselves in Verona," he concluded.
