The Serbia international believes his side can play with the pressure off them in tonight's Derby d'Italia, and reminds everyone that Inter are the only Italian team to win treble
The Nerazzurri arrive at Juventus Stadium in dire need of a victory if they are to have any chance of securing the top three finish they require to qualify for next season's Champions League.
However, Stankovic believes that all of the pressure is on their hosts, who are now seven points behind Serie A leaders AC Milan following the Rossoneri's 2-1 victory over Roma on Saturday night.
"Let's put the game on the scales and see what Juventus could win or lose and what Inter could win or lose," the Serbia international mused during an interview with Sky Sport24.
"At the moment, the team with the most to lose is Juve because they are fighting for the Scudetto and the pressure will certainly be on them.
"They are playing well, they're in the Coppa Italia final, but the Derby d'Italia always carries its own weight.
"And remember, Inter are the only Italian team to have won the treble."
The 33-year-old continued: "Inter are looking to bounce back and get things back on track yet again. We want to win; we're going to Turin to win the game and it won't be easy.
"But I think Inter will play with a little less pressure on them."
Stankovic admitted, though, that he is feeling the strain on a personal level at the moment because he has failed to find the net in Serie A so far this season and is therefore hoping that he can break his duck in arguably the biggest game in Italian football.
"When I was a kid, I was told that great games are meant for great players," he revealed. "So, we'll see ...
"It would certainly be nice because I've never ended a season without scoring a single goal."
Inter's clash with the Bianconeri at Juventus Stadium gets underway at 20:45CET.
