thumbnail Hello,

With the Biancocelesti currently on course to secure a berth in next season's Champions League, the veteran duo have both decided to sign on for another year

Lazio have announced that veterans Cristian Brocchi and Giuseppe Biava have extended their contracts with the club.

Both players were out of contract at the end of the current campaign but they have now penned one-year extensions which will keep them at the Stadio Olimpico until June 30, 2013.

Midfielder Brocchi, 36, joined Lazio from Milan in 2008, while the 34-year-old Biava arrived from Genoa two years ago.

Lazio currently sit in third place in Serie A, which is the final qualifying place for next season's Champions League, one point ahead of Napoli and Udinese.
