Home United extended their lead at the top after second-placed Warriors fell to a surprise loss, with only one match failing to produce any victors
Second-placed Warriors FC failed to keep pace with leaders Home United when they went down 2-1 to a spirited National Football Academy (NFA) Under-17 side on Monday, as Joshua Bernard Pereira and Shah Zulkarnean struck to ensure Suria Prakash's goal was mere consolation.
Two days earlier, Home managed to see off Geylang International in a tightly-contest affair, which was settled by Shaheer Afiq's sole goal in a 1-0 win. Tampines Rovers thrashed Hougang United on the same day, running out 4-1 victors. Durica Zuparic levelled briefly but a brace from Taufik Suparno and further goals from Cameron Bell and Azmeerudin Jamludain saw the Stags come away with all three points.
The third game of Saturday was the only one to end without either side being victorious, as Ahmad Syahir struck in the 89th minute to salvage a point for Balestier Khalsa in a 1-1 draw against Tanjong Pagar United, who went ahead in the first half through Shafiq Noh's goal.
The fifth game of Round 10 saw the NFA U18s bounce back from a heavy defeat last week by beating Woodlands Wellington 2-0, with Zulfadhmi Suzliman and Ashshiddiq Misban netting a minute of the other.
