Mourinho has flopped this season, say Goal Singapore readers

The Portuguese made a big return to Stamford Bridge in the summer but will end the season trophyless
His return was supposed to signify the start of better things to come, but Jose Mourinho will end his first season back at Stamford Bridge with no trophies to show for.

Chelsea won the Europa League last season under Rafael Benitez, who was dismissed and replaced by the "Special One", who left Real Madrid to rejoin the side he led to two Premier League titles back in 2004 to 2007.

But having been in title contention and the Champions League semi-finals until recently, Mourinho's Blues faded away and will not be able to win any honour this season.

This is surely not what most supporters would have envisaged under the Portuguese, who also sold fan favourite Juan Mata to Manchester United.

In fact, the majority of Goal Singapore readers believe that Mourinho has flopped this season, with 40.9% indicating that he should have done better. A further 32.7% were more sympathetic, saying that he needs more time, while the remaining 26.3% were not sure, but believes he needs to start winning trophies next season or he will be in trouble.
