Goal had reported that that the game was planned a day earlier, with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) confirming the news on Friday night. The match will take place at Hougang Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 8p.m.
Having taken the Courts Young Lions, which look set to provide a bulk of the players for the U23 squad, to Turkey for a month-long training camp prior to the start of the S.League season, coach Aide Iskandar is looking forward to the game as a continued part of their preparations for the tournament.
"Indonesia is always a frontrunner in regional football tournaments and playing against them will serve as an essential part of our preparations for the SEA Games in 2015," he stated in a FAS press release. "The boys are looking forward to the match and I am sure they will put on their best efforts against Indonesia. We all look forward to the continued support of our fans at the match.”
Singapore drew 1-1 away and won 1-0 at home in the last two encounters between both sides in June and July respectively last year.
