Honourable Mentions

S.Chanturu - Sarawak FA

Goal Malaysia Chief Editor Falah Abdullah: "The former national winger had a forgettable season with Perak FA last season due to injuries. However, since donning the famous black and red colors of Sarawak, he has been a revelation with some solid displays. Against LionsXII, he was threatening throughout with his direct running and good off the ball movement which saw him grab two goals as Sarawak won 3-1."

Alfin Ismail Tuasalamony - Persebaya Surabaya

Goal Indonesia Chief Editor Agung Harsya: "Alfin play well when Persebaya visited Persepam Madura United. He had two assists and scored a goal from the penalty spot in Persebaya's 4-1 win. That's the first away win for Persebaya this season. Alfin is irreplaceable. Brave in defending and diligent in attacking, it's only a matter of time before we see Alfin play regularly in Indonesian national team."

Shamil Sharif - Courts Young Lions

Goal Singapore Senior Editor Teng Kiat: "The midfielder struck his first goals of the season as the Young Lions notched their first point in the 2014 S.League campaign, drawing 2-2 with Woodlands Wellington in their third match. He showed good composure to fire his team ahead in just under one minute and produced another calm finish to restore the lead, although he was helpless to prevent a late equaliser from the Rams. Still, it was a fine showing from the midfielder, who is not known for his goal-scoring abilities."
