The Manchester United youngster broke into the first team this season and his talent is there for all to see, but questions have been raised over how often he should be playingManchester United, Adnan Januzaj is one.
The youngster, who broke into the first team at the start of the campaign, has easily been the Red Devils' best player most times when he has played and has not looked out of place at all despite being only 19.
The Belgian winger has already declared his desire to be the club's best player, having been pleased with what he has achieved so far this season.
"I have played games and I think there is more to come," he told United's official website. "I hope to win trophies at this club and be the best player."
However, Januzaj was not included in the squad that lost to Olympiakos 2-0 away last time out, and has been benched a fair bit prior to that as well. This is because of the United management's keenness to avoid their playmaker getting burned out, as explained by coach Phil Neville recently.
"It's still early doors for him, though, and I think we've treated him right," he told United's website.
"We've played him in games and we've also rested him in others and given him a bit of a breather. We have to make sure that in two or three years he's still improving and reaching the levels we hope he can reach. That's our job as coaches."The majority of Goal Singapore readers agree with Neville's assessment, with 68.6% indicating that the former Anderlecht player should be rotated carefully this season so as to prevent over-exhaustion and to help him cope with the physical demands of the game, given his young nature. The remaining feel, however, that he is United's best player and should be starting most games.
