Young Women, Police Sports Association, Arion FA and H2O/ITE Dream Team will duke it out on November 24 for a place in the final after the last round of group games were played
Young Women topped Group A to qualify along with debutants H2O/ITE Dream Team, while Arion FA and Police Sports Association made it out from Group B.
Young Women took on Dream Team in their final game at Ang Mo Kio Secondary School, with both already assured of qualification, having won both of their previous matches. In the end, goals from Noor Fatin Afiqah (22nd minute), Siti Nurhidayah (45th) and Lim Li Xian (65th) handed them a 3-0 win and a third straight win.
Winchester Isla played out a thrilling 2-2 draw with Petra FC in the other Group A match at Anderson Secondary. Kyla Marie Myrtle Corelli opened the scoring for Winchester in the 14th minute, with Kwok Chee May replying for Petra in the 29th minute. Rena Lim put Winchester ahead again two minutes before half-time, but Gan Hui Ling Sharleen's 77th-minute equaliser ensured a share of the spoils for Petra.
In Group B, Warriors FC's hopes of making it to the next round ended when Arion routed them 8-2 to top the group at Kent Ridge Secondary. Chris Yip-Au bagged a stunning five goals to add on to Yong Sheau Shyan's 11th-minute opener, with Cassandra Lewis hitting a brace as well. Miku Sakurada struck for the Warriors both times, but those were mere consolation goals.
Police edged Jollidads Arsenal in the other game as Azean Adam struck in the 21st minute to condemn Jollidads to a third straight loss.
With that, Young Women will take on Police at Bukit Gombak Stadium while Arion clash with Dream Team at Toa Payoh Stadium, with both semi-finals scheduled to be played at 5p.m on November 24, Sunday.
