thumbnail Hello,

The former Lions coach is a wanted man in Thailand by two ambitious clubs looking for regional honours

Former Singapore Head Coach, Radojko 'Raddy' Avramovic is being targetted by Thai Premier League clubs Chonburi FC and BEC Tero Sassana FC according to sources close to Goal.

The Three-time AFF Championship winning coach left the Lions following the conclusion of a successful 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup campaign and is currently unattached.

Avramovic was previously linked with a Director of Football role with the Football Association of Singapore and with several clubs around the region, and although no moves materialised it is believed the Serbian is keen on making a return to Southeast Asia.

BEC Tero finished third in the recently concluded Thai Premier League while Chonburi were runners-up to Muangthong United. Both clubs have also had a strong history in the AFC Champions League, Asia's flagship club competition.

Current caretaker coach of BEC Tero Jose Alves Borges will not be handed an extension to his short-term contract after failing to impress during his stay.

Chonburi meanwhile are reportedly interested in J-League side Vissel Kobe's manager Ryo Adachi and have also expressed interest in Kelantan FA's Bojan Hodak, with whom the club shares a prior relationship with, having worked together in scouting opponents for the 2012 AFC Cup.
