Aide looking forward to Eintracht Frankfurt Under-23 friendly

The Courts Young Lions coach is glad for the chance to take on a quality international opponent as his team look to finish their S.League season strongly
The Courts Young Lions will take on Eintracht Frankfurt's Under-23 side in a friendly tonight at the Jalan Besar Stadium, as part of the German side's Southeast Asia tour.

Coach Aide Iskandar is delighted to have such an opportunity to play against a "quality" opponent, whose U15 team finished third at the Canon Lion City Cup here in June.

“We saw how the Eintracht Frankfurt Under-15 side performed at the Canon Lion City Cup, reflecting what a technically-sound team they have at the youth-level and we are looking forward to the challenge against their Under-23 side," he said.

"The players are looking forward to the match and will try their best to put up a good showing at our stadium. At the same time, we hope to finish the S.League season strong, hoping to collect maximum points in the last four matches.

"We hope that all our fans will turn up this Wednesday to show their support for the team.”

The match will kick off at 8p.m., with complimentary entry for all fans.
