thumbnail Hello,

Although exit was already sealed following results in other matches, the U19 boys ended their campaign on a losing note going down to Cambodia

Cambodia broke Singapore hearts as they overcame the U19 side 3-2 in Surabaya, Indonesia on Tuesday evening.

A win for Singapore would still not have been enough as Timor Leste topped the group on 10 points and Laos finished a close second on nine points to make it to the semi-finals. Dejan Gluscevic's boys finished a further five points behind in fourth place, above bottom of the table and winless Philippines.

The match remained goalless at half-time and the Cambodians took the lead in the 49th minute via Nub Tola before Singapore equalised through Muhammad Muhelmy just minutes later and took the lead for themselves when Muhammad Hazim Faiz converted a penalty in the 75th minute.

But Cambodia fought back and Neth Veasna levelled the match on 81 minutes before Nub Tola smashed home the winner two minutes later.
