The 2013 United Football League top scorer has been snapped up by the league's runners-up on a month's loan for their quarter-final clash with Brunei DPMM

Singapore Cup quarter-finalists Global FC have announced their squad for their two-legged clash against Brunei DPMM on July 24 and July 27 at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

The United Football League (UFL) side has managed to secure the services of league top scorer Rufino Sanchez on a month's loan from rivals Stallion FC.

The Spaniard netted 18 times in the recently concluded UFL season and will lead the frontline in the absence of preliminary round goalscorer Jordan Robertson.

Robertson scored in their 2-0 win over Warriors FC in the previous round, but was released and has since made his way back to Europe.

Also traveling with the 2013 UFL runners-up to Singapore are new signings Jamile Muncada, Amani Aguinaldo and Paolo Bugas.

Muncada, who is comfortable at both full-back positions, was snapped up from Pasargad FC while Aguinaldo and Bugas were both formerly on the books of Loyola Meralco Sparks' Under-19 team.

Although the club have also signed Philippines Under-23 captain Mark Hartmann, he is ineligible for the tie after previously turning out for Loyola in the preliminary round.

"We are happy to have signed such quality players who will certainly play important roles in our bid to win more trophies," said Global owner Dan Palami on the club's official website.

"I am sure that the Global supporters will welcome them with open arms."
