Singapore crash out of AFF Women's Cup

The Lionesses exited the annual competition at the group stage after three consecutive defeats
The Singapore national women's team grabbed their first goals in the competition on Monday evening but still went down 7-2 to Philippines in the final Group A match in the AFF Women's Cup held in Vietnam.

Forward Kamaliah Hashim grabbed both of Singapore's goals in the 71st and 77th minute. The result ensured the Lionesses finished bottom of the group after three cosecutive defeats, a 10-0 opening round loss to hosts Vietnam, and a 11-0 trouncing by Myanmar.

Both Vietnam and Myanmar progress to the semi-finals with Thailand, Malaysia and Laos still in contention for a final four berth.
