BREAKING NEWS: Football Association of Singapore to seek clarification from Raddy over S.League comments

The Singapore coach had stated in an interview with the Straits Times that the S.League has not been able to produce quality talents and FAS has issued a statement
Full Statement:

We have received a number of enquiries from the media about comments attributed to Coach Radojko Avramovic. It is not the practice of the Football Association of Singapore to discuss such matters through the media, and indeed, if Coach Raddy had any misgivings, he should have brought them to the FAS.

We will meet up with Coach Raddy after he returns from Myanmar later this week and will seek his explanation on the comments which was attributed to him before deciding on the next course of action.

In the meantime, we are very grateful for the continuing positive role of the S-League clubs in Singapore football, both in the development of professional and youth players.

The recent editions of the Lion City Cup have also seen the likes of Adam Swandi and Ammirul Emmran emerge as potential stars of tomorrow. Several of our players were also praised by coaches of the other teams including CR Vasco da Gama, Newcastle and Ajax. For instance, Michel Kreek, the Ajax Amsterdam U-16 coach, said: “Adam Swandi is a good player and has potential and I would like to see him in Europe for trials.
