Singapore to compete in 2012 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy
An 18-men squad will depart for Brunei for the U-21 competition scheduled to begin on Saturday

The 11-team tournament is a biennial U-21 competition for nations in the ASEAN region and the 2012 event will be the fourth edition since its inception in 2002. The 2009 edition was cancelled in light of the Fifa sanctions on Brunei Football Association then.
Singapore has been drawn in Group A together with Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia and Laos.
The team will leave for the tournament on February 23 and return to Singapore on March 10.
Singapore will open their campaign against Indonesia on February 26 before rounding-off the group stage a week later against Myanmar.
The Final is scheduled for March 9. All matches will be played in Brunei.
