The Malaysia Super League game has been moved to three days later from its original date due to a fundraiser match between the Asean All-Stars and IndonesiaThe Football Association of Singapore (FAS) announced today evening that the Malaysia Super League (MSL) game between the LionsXII and Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) will be moved to three days later than the originally scheduled date.
The clash at the Jalan Besar Stadium was due to be played on Saturday, May 10, but it has now been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 13. The venue remains unchanged and the kick-off timing stays at 7.45p.m.
This is due to the charity match between the Asean All-Stars and the Indonesia national team, which will serve as a fundraiser for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, taking place on May 11. The Asian Football Federation has confirmed that the game will proceed as planned, with the suggestion having first been mooted in December last year.
The match with JDT is the LionsXII's next MSL assignment, which will come 24 days after their last match - a 1-0 loss to Selangor FA last Saturday. Coach Fandi Ahmad has already billed the clash as a key one.
