Secretary-general Mohd Fahmy Yahya has indicated that they have replied a letter that was sent to them regarding the Larkin incident last monthThe Johor Football Association (JFA) has indicated that they have sent out a response to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) regarding the tunnel incident at Larkin Stadium last month.
FAM had sent a charge letter and set a one-week deadline last week for the Johor FA to reply, after the infamous half-time spat between Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) and T-Team during their FA Cup second-round tie.
The game was abandoned after T-Team refused to continue the second half and JDT were subsequently awarded a 3-0 walkover win.
JFA secretary-general Mohd Fahmy Yahya confirmed to Utusan that JDT has already answered the letter sent by the FAM, but refused to indicate when the reply was sent or give any further details.
FAM secretary-general Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin had earlier stated that JDT needed to reply to the charges before the FAM Disciplinary Committee could investigate the incident.
Both parties had made police reports after the incident, with JFA president Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim also giving a police statement.
Hamidin also adedd that FAM would take as much time as needed to come to a conclusion.
