Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) have officially appointed former Kelantan FA head coach Bojan Hodak as their new team manager.
The Croatian, who led Kelantan to the Treble of Malaysia Super League (MSL), FA Cup and Malaysia Cup in 2012 will help current head coach Cesar Jimenez, who previously held the team manager role as well. Hodak left Kelantan at the end of last season and had been without a club until this new role.
The Football Association of Johor (PBNJ) announced the move on Wednesday and stated that Spaniard Jimenez, who joined the team last year, will still continue in his current role.
Hodak's vast knowledge of local football will aid JDT, having been in Southeast Asia for his entire coaching career. PBNJ hopes that the 42-year-old's knowledge can supplement Jimenez's experience from coaching in European leagues.
