The former Young Tiger believes he will fit in well with his new team and fill the gaps left by Azwan Roya and Indra Putra
Kelantan's new signing, Wan Zaharulnizam Zakaria is confident that he can fill the holes left by experienced players Indra Putra and Nurul Azwan Roya on the left wing of The Red Warriors.
The 22-year-old believes that his experience with the Young Tigers under Datuk Ong Kim Swee would help him to carry the responsibility with his new team.
According to Sinar Harian, Wan Zaharulnizam said, “It cannot be denied that Indra Putra and Nurul Azwan are great players in that position but it’s not impossible for me to do better (than them). I will use my experience with the Young Tigers to repay the faith given to me by the team and the fans.”
Kelantan-born Zaharulnizam insisted that the chance to play for his hometown team would not be wasted and will be the catalyst for him to be an even better player.
He however admitted that he still need some time to adjust with the new players because he recently joined the team one month ago.
“I also need to compete with Ghaddar and Shawky because they both are very good players and definitely will be in the first eleven,” he added.
Zaharulnizam joined the Red Warriors after leaving Young Tigers and the young player is expected to shine with the FA Cup 2013 champions.
