Pahang to leave it to FAM to handle Amirulhadi's issue

The Elephants will leave it to the FAM to decide on the legality of Amirulhadi Zainal's transfer to Johor Darul Takzim

The Pahang Football Association has given the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) the full power to handle the issue of Amirulhadi Zainal’s transfer to Johor Darul Takzim (JDT).

Its President, Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah, has confirmed that Amirulhadi has signed a contract with Pahang before he moved to JDT.

“I only knew about this in the newspaper, and I think it is best if we leave this issue to the FAM through their Player’s Status Committee to decide. I understand the pressure that Amirulhadi is facing right now, I symphatized with his situation but this is the truth.”

According to Sinar Harian, Tengku Abdul Rahman also added that this issue has affected Pahang’s preparations for next season.

“I think any team would be disrupted if they are facing this kind of issue. Furthermore, Amirulhadi was our first team member but whatever it is, we must do our best,” he added.

Amirulhadi Zainal shocked the local football scene when he appeared at JDT’s 2014 squad revealing event despite reports saying that he has already signed new contract with Pahang.
