The new Southern Tiger might find himself in trouble if he is found guilty of breaching his contract with Pahang.
New Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) midfielder, Amirulhadi Zainal, may have just got himself into trouble after his controversial move from Pahang.
If he is found guilty of breaching his contract with Pahang to join JDT, he may receive punishment from the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM)
According to Astro Arena, the President of Players’ Status committee of FAM, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said his committee have the right to investigate the issue to make sure it was a legitimate transfer move.
Takiyuddin also stated that he has not received any official complaints regarding the matter, but they are currently observing the situation and has already had discussions with the Secretary-General of FAM, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin to ask both teams to come forward and give their explaination.
Amirul surprised local football fans; especially Pahang supporters when he was present at the JDT’s new team introduction ceremony, despite Pahang Football Association's claims that he had already signed a contract with the Malaysia Cup champions.
Takiyuddin insisted that his side are looking at this issue seriously and ready to take the right actions if necessary.
