National and JDT striker Norshahrul Idlan has been admitted to KPJ Johor, as he is currently experiencing a high fever and is suspected to have dengue fever
According to Johor Darul Takzim's (JDT) Facebook page, Mat Yo was pictured lying on a bed in hospital with the description that he is currently having a very high fever.
The status, which was posted around 4.00 PM yesterday, stated “Norshahrul Idlan is currently in KPJ due to high fever and he is suspected to have dengue fever.”
Norshahrul was missing from the introduction of JDT’s new squad and new jersey for 2014, and rumours were swirling that he had been swapped with Amirulhadi and had moved to Pahang.
However, JDT was quick to deny the rumours and the list of names for 2014 squad members saw that Mat Yo is still part of JDT’s plans.
Norshahrul was influential for JDT last season, scoring many important goals for both club and country. Mat Yo joined JDT in 2013 after leaving Kelantan right after they won the treble.
Goal Malaysia wishes that Norshahrul Idlan will recover soon and makes a swift return to football, hopefully being able to start the first game of the season in January.
