Kelantan FA will hold a meeting regarding Annuar's decision to resign from his post, insisting that they have not received any official letters yet
Following the surprise decision made by Tan Sri Annuar Musa recently, Kelantan Football Association will hold a meeting soon to look into a number of issues.
According to its secretary general, Azman Ibrahim, so far KAFA are yet to receive any official resignation letters from Annuar.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Azman said “We will call all of our council members for a meeting. Right now, Datuk Seri Affandi Hamzah and Datuk Rosmadi Ismail are still in Myanmar for (the) SEA Games so we have to wait for our two top men to return and of course our agenda would be the resignation of Annuar.”
Azman admitted that if Annuar Musa is to proceed with his decision, not only Kelantan but Malaysia will lose one of the most prominent figure in local football.
“Annuar is a calibre man ever since he was in charge over KAFA. (The) Transformation he has made for the past five years was incredible and he has put Kelantan as one of the (most) respected teams in South East Asia,” he added.
Annuar Musa recently posted on his Facebook account that he has resigned from all his positions related to football, and he insisted the decision was made to avoid any quarrels between the FAM and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
