Pahang Football Association (PBNP) Vice-president, Datuk Seri Muhammad Safian Ismail, has stated that his side are still discussing whether to stick with Dollah Salleh as head coach for next season.
According to Sinar Harian, Safian said: "We have to make the right decision because we just won the trophy and of course we want to retain the trophy for next season but at the same time, it does not mean that an imported coach will ensure victory because local coaches can also win trophies."
He also denied that PBNP is looking at other coaches in order to replace Dollah and he said that the decision will made by Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah, the president of the state's football association.
He said that the announcement will be made after PBNP have their meetings to plan and strategize next season.
Dollah reportedly will move to a new club next season after leading Pahang to a Malaysia Cup truimph by defeating defending champions Kelantan.
