thumbnail Hello,

Pahang Football Association (PAFA) will fulfill their promise of parading their trophy all over the state once they get the green light from their President.

Pahang ended their 21-year Malaysia Cup drought and its Football Association, PAFA, are looking at possibilities to parade the trophy all over the state.

Pahang team manager Datuk Che Nasir Salleh said that they will get the consent from the President first before deciding, where, when and how the tour will be conducted.

Speaking to Bernama, Nasir said: "As it was decided by Tengku Muda yesterday, the Malaysia Cup trophy will be paraded at every district in the whole of Pahang."

However, the decision is yet to be finalised as the competition just ended and the team just returned yesterday.

Pahang escaped the group of death and defeated Sarawak in the semifinal before beating defending champions Kelantan in the final of the 2013 Malaysia Cup.

Matias Conti’s header in the second half was good enough to send Pahang fans wild and end their 21 years of waiting.

Chief Minister of Pahang, Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, has announced that November 4 would be a public holiday and rewards were in store if the Elephants could get the job done.
