Veteran Pahang defender, Jalaluddin Jaafar, will do his best to win the Malaysia Cup for the Elephants.
Pahang’s experienced defender Jalaluddin Jaafar is determined to play his best this Sunday against Kelantan to make up for the disappointment in the 1997 Malaysia Cup final.
According to Pahang’s senior player, they have have a good chance to win the trophy despite being labelled as underdogs.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Jalaluddin said: "Other than me, Razman Roslan and Amirulhadi Zainal have the experience of appearing in the final with other teams before and we will use our experience to help Pahang win the game.
"Furthermore, this team looks really great in spirit and really wants to end this 21-year drought."
Jalaluddin also called for the Pahang supporters to help him and the other players by giving their full support on Sunday to the team, and in the process out-cheer the Red Warriors' supporters.
Pahang will face Kelantan in the 2013 Malaysia Cup final as they enter the match as underdogs who look to topple the defending champions at the Shah Alam Stadium.
