Kelantan defender Obinna Nwaneri is disappointed that he cannot play in the 2013 Malaysia Cup final after picking up two yellow cards in the previous rounds.
Obinna Nwaneri is clearly in a sad mood as the steely defender is suspended for this Sunday's 2013 Malaysia Cup final between Kelantan and Pahang.
The defender received a yellow card in the last game against ATM which means he is automatically suspended for the final, and the import player did not hide his feelings.
According to Sinar Harian, Nwaneri said: "There’s no other feeling than disappointment.
"I worked hard from the beginning of the tournament and I helped Kelantan go to the final but with a huge sacrifice."
Nwaneri received his first yellow card during the 6-1 win against Johor Darul Takzim in Kota Bharu, and with another yellow card, the Nigerian can now only watch the upcoming game from the stands.
"This is not a normal league match but it is the final and everybody wants to play in it but I can only watch from the stands," he added.
Nwaneri has scored two goals for Kelantan in the Malaysia Cup campaign and has again been one of the key players for the Red Warriors this season.
