B. Sathianathan was happy with his team’s display despite losing to Kelantan on aggregate and failing to progress to the final of 2013 Malaysia Cup next week.
ATM were in total control of the game in the first half but two late goals from Kelantan have crushed ATM’s supporters' hearts but Sathianathan was positive despite the result.
Speaking after the game, Sathia said: "I think we did well in both the first and second halves but we were unlucky.
"I think referee was not consistent tonight because Norfarhan raised his leg too high before scoring and I don’t know why he did not see that."
Sathia however was happy with his team’s performance and confident that ATM can come back next season stronger than ever.
"We will strengthen the team and I believe that the management is working hard to make the team stronger.
"I want to congratulate Kelantan for making it to the final and also congratulations to their fans as well," he added.
ATM bowed out of the 2013 Malaysia Cup after a hard-fought match which saw them losing 4-3 on aggregate after the tie in Kota Bharu ended with a 2-2 score line.
