Bojan Hodak was in a flamboyant mood after seeing his players trash Johor Darul Takzim 6-1 and continue their mission of retaining the Malaysia Cup trophy.
After losing 4-2 in the first leg, the Red Warriors went into the game full of confidence and scored six past the JDT defence and won the tie 8-5 on aggregate.
Speaking to the reporters after the game, Hodak said, “We entered the game with confidence and even in the dressing room, the player were hungry to win the game. I can’t complain much about the mistakes that we did and I am happy with the result.”
With the win, Kelantan will now travel to Selayang to face ATM for their semi-final clash on 18th October before welcoming the Gladiators to Kota Bharu a week after that.
The tie will be the repeat of last year’s final when Kelantan beat ATM, and Bojan is expecting a tough game against the Gladatiors.
“I think Kelantan and ATM are the best teams in the country at the moment and it will be quite tough for us,” he added.
