Kelantan skipper Badhri Radzi is ready to face a tough task against Terengganu and will accept nothing less than a win
Kelantan’s do or die mission in defending their Malaysia Cup title will be decided starting with their clash against arch-rivals Terengganu at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah stadium.
Their midfield maestro Badhri Radzi, otherwise known as Piya, stated that the Red Warriors have no choice but to beat Terengganu on the Turtle’s own turf if they wish to keep their hopes alive.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Piya said: "We must win our two remaining games and the tough job begins at Terengganu.
"Any other results will make things hard for us and we will go there for a win, giving more than 100 per cent in order to do so."
He also mentioned that with the return of internationals such as Shakir Shaari, Nik Shahrul, Fakri Saarani, as well as the return of injured players such as Khairul Fahmi and Fakri Saarani, will provide a huge boost for the team.
"I am not sure whether Dickson Nwakaeme can play or not but I hope the return of Fakri will make us sharper in front of goal," he added.
However the midfielder admitted that it will be a tough task for his team to beat the Turtles as the home team are currently in fine form after their win against Pahang last month.
Kelantan and Terengganu still have a chance to qualify for the next round in their Group of Death, together with another east coast team Pahang, and group leaders Negeri Sembilan.
