National defender, Fadhli Shas is delighted with his contribution when he scored the only goal for Malaysia in the game against Chelsea last Sunday
Mohd Fadhli Shas was satisfied with his performance and described it as a well-worth shot after scoring the only goal for Malaysia in the friendly against Chelsea FC at the Shah Alam stadium last Sunday.
Fadhli, who just finished his duty with Harimau Muda 'A' at Universiade in Kazan, Russia, had no rest at all and immediately joined the national team for training last Thursday.
According to Sinar Harian, Fadhli said: "I am grateful that my return to Malaysia was worth it.
"I am really happy with my performance in the game.
"What’s more important is that I managed to score a goal against a world class team, and at the same time, gave joy to the fans at the stadium."
Despite playing 5 games in 12 days, added with the fact that it is in Ramadhan, Fadhli is happy with his game.
"All I can say is I am very happy with my performance, with my game and the most important thing is I made the fans happy and that is precious," he added.
Fadhli who was surprised when he scored the goal, but national team still lost to Chelsea 4-1 at the end of the night.
