KAFA President, Annuar Musa is happy with what Kelantan has achieved this season despite losing the Malaysian Super League title to LionsXII
Kelantan Football Associaton (KAFA) President, Tan Sri Annuar Musa was all happy and satisfied with the Red Warriors' performance after they successfully achieved the goal that was set by the association early in the season.
Despite losing the Malaysian Super League trophy to eventual winners LionsXII, Annuar still felt that their FA Cup triumph and qualification for the 2014 AFC Cup next season was enough for the team this season.
According to Sinar Harian, Annuar said: "We are grateful that we managed to be in the top four, win a trophy and qualify for the AFC Cup next season.
"I also want to congratulate all of the officials, and the loyal fans that supported the Red Warriors all season."
Kelantan ended their Super League challenge in the top four after they defeated champions Lions XII 2-0 in their last game at Kota Bharu Kelantan with goals from Badri Radzi and Dickson Nwakaeme ensured the three points.
Kelantan occupied the fourth spot with 36 points, with 10 wins throughout the whole season and their last game was the fifth match in a row where they kept a clean sheet.
Annuar also added that Kelantan will have 10 days of vacation before they come back for training to prepare for the Malaysia Cup campaign which begins in September.
