KAFA advisor, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, has urged FAM to sell tickets for the FA Cup final clash between Kelantan and Johor Darul Takzim early, to help aid security procedures
Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) advisor, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, has urged the Football Association of Malaysia to sell tickets for the FA Cup final clash between Kelantan and Johor Darul Takzim a day before the match.
According to him, selling the tickets on June 28 would reduce the congestion at the ticket counters and would give the fans a chance to buy early, instead of rushing to buy them on match day.
"Selling the tickets early also means that security concerns would be less because if you sell tickets on the same day, those who failed to get tickets would still be around the stadium.
"It can lead to overcrowding and congestion at the stadium, but if the tickets were sold a day earlier, it can also help to ease the traffic congestion," Annuar told Bernama.
According to him, KAFA will start selling the tickets for the final, priced at RM40, starting from 10am on June 20 to enable their fans to plan their trip well ahead.
The FA Cup champions Kelantan are set to defend their title against the Southern Tigers, and the Kelantan government has shown their support by giving the state a day off following the match to ensure their fans’ safety when travelling back home.
