Selangor goalkeeper Norazlan Razali is ready to face the New Radiant firepower if he is chosen for their AFC Cup Round of 16 tie
Selangor’s number one goalkeeper, Norazlan Razali is prepared to face the heavy task of halting the firepower of New Radiant if he plays tonight in the AFC Cup round of 16 clash in the Maldives.
The national goalkeeper also said that he is ready to protect his goal, and will work hard to make sure that his team will keep a clean sheet in the game.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Norazlan said: “It is up to the coach whether to play me or not, but I am ready to give my best if my services are needed to qualify for the quarter-final.
“There is no second leg for this game, so we have to take every chance we get in the game and at the same time stop them from threatening our own goal,” he added.
Selangor qualified for the last 16 after finishing second in the group despite not managing to win in any of their first three games.
The last time Selangor played in the semi-final of the AFC Cup was back in 2006, where they lost to Lebanese club Al-Nejmeh 1-0.
