The effort on transforming the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Article 88 is supported by the Kelantan Football Association, who have suggested that it should be removed for good.
KAFA president, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, said that the suggestion made by him is not due to personal issues, but he was considering the best steps in order to raise the nations footballing standard.
According to Sinar Harian, Annuar said: "If it's revised, the Article would still be there.
"For me, it would be better if we removed it altogether, and replace it with a clause that satisfies everyone.
"It should be standardised along with FIFA's rules, and in FIFA, there is no rule that says only the President and the Secretary-General can speak."
Datuk Afandi Hamah, FAM's President of the regulation committee, has suggested that the Article should be revised so that it will give more people the freedom to speak.
"It's good that FAM's exco has made the suggestion for it to be analysed," added Annuar.
Tan Sri Annuar Musa is one of high profile victims of Article 88 for criticising the FAM, alongisde former PFA President Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim and JFA's president Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.
