Annuar blames fixture congestion for defeat against ATM

KAFA President, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, believes that ATM had the advantage over Kelantan as they had more time to rest and prepare for the game
Tan Sri Annuar Musa believes that Kelantan's 3-1 defeat at home to ATM, which snapped their 32 game unbeaten run at Kota Bharu, was because the players were too tired after playing three cup fixtures prior to the match, while ATM had the opportunity to rest.

Despite commenting that many members of Bojan Hodak's squad are overused, and lamenting Obinna Nwaneri's suspension, Annuar still accepted the defeat with an open heart.

"Tiredness and Obinna's suspension affected the Red Warriors' performance and ATM took advantange.

"ATM also played better than us overall after having plenty of time to recharge themselves," Annuar wrote on his Facebook page.

In the game, ATM scored three goals at Kota Bharu to claim a valuable three points from the champions.

However, he hoped that the defeat would not break the team's spirit, and that they will keep on fighting until the league is over.
