Former Liverpool and Lyon hitman, Milan Baros is the latest big name player to be linked with Johor Darul Takzim after the recent departure of their superstar duo; Dani Guiza and Simone Del Nero.

According to our sources close to the former Czech international, the Southern Tigers have tabled an offer for the player to join them on a possible loan deal.

The 31-year-old striker burst into the international football scene when he won the the Golden Boot at the 2004 UEFA Euro scoring five goals for the Czech Republic.

He is perhaps best remembered by English Premier League football fans as Gerard Houllier's signing for Liverpool in 2002 for a fee of £3.2 million.

His last stint at a top European club was with Turkish giants, Galatasaray where he scored 48 goals in 93 games. He returned to his roots and joined his former club, Banik Ostrava in February this year.
